1. Activities New York is responding to a #6 spill in Little Neck Bay, on the north shore of Long Island, NY. At this point the amount and source are undetermined. Initially the oil was thought to have come from a leaking barge in the COTP Long Island Sound area. However, laboratory tests show them to be two separate oils. With heavy rains in the area the investigators on scene have discovered oil coming out of a storm drain. They are attempting to trace the source from there. USCG district 1.
2. COMMODITY: #6 FUEL OIL.
