OSV Luke David; 21nm south of Mobile Bay, AL. 21nm south of Mobile Bay, AL. 1. At approximately 0830 CST NOAA Hazmat was notified by MSO Mobile of a capsized Offshore Supply Vessel (OSV), the LUKE DAVID, located 21nm south of Mobile Bay in position 29° 53'N, 088° 02'W with 9,500-11,300 gallons of diesel onboard. Winds are from the southeast at 20 knots and seas are 5 feet. At 0900 the Coast Guard reported sheen coming from the vessel and that the vessel is drifting to the northwest. NOAA Hazmat is providing trajectory and weather support. USCG district 8. 2. COMMODITY: DIESEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 11300 GALLONS. 3. POSITION 29.883N 088.033W.
