Tank Vessel East Point; Offshore, Atlantic Ocean. Offshore, Atlantic Ocean. 1. On March 2, 2007, USCG Sector San Juan contacted ERD regarding a report of 24,000 gallons of waste oil spilled from the Tank Vessel East Point. The incident occurred approximately 450 NM NE of St Croix. USCG requested potential fate and potential for impacts to US waters. 2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: WASTE OIL.
