Capsized Barge; Great Egg Harbor Inlet, NJ. Great Egg Harbor Inlet, NJ. 1. On October 2, 2009 a construction barge capsized due to unknown reasons inside of Great Egg Harbor Inlet, NJ. The USCG reports that the incident occurred at 4 pm local time. The barge has 600 gallons of diesel on board. USCG has requested a trajectory analysis for the oil. 2. THREAT: OIL.
