1. A USCG helicopter reported a 2x2 mile sheen approximately 14 miles off Point Loma (32-35N 117-30W) at 0800-0830hrs on 16JUN2010. The reported location is near the US-Mexico border and the source is unknown. USCG Sector San Diego requested NOAA trajectory support.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: PETROLEUM, POSSIBLY DIESEL.
