1. USCG Sector New York requested scientific support from NOAA Emergency Response Division on 31Oct2012 for Hurricane Sandy related pollution incidents. The USCG is currently responding to oil spills in Arthur Kill, NJ/NY. NOAA personnel are on-scene at the USCG command post.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL, BIO-DIESEL, SLOP OIL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 348600 GALLONS. TAGS: HURRICANE.
