1. USCG Sector North Carolina contacted SSC this evening at 2145 hours. Sector North Carolina is currently working a search and rescue case for a fishing vessel, the F/V Lauren Dorothy II, taking on water approximately 46 miles offshore of Wrightsville Beach, NC. The vessel is expected to sink in the vicinity of 36-25N 074-44W with approx 1600 gallons of diesel on board.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 1600 GALLONS. TAGS: DERELICT.
