9 mi ENE of Vieques, PR.
1. On September 21, 2014, a 42' pleasure craft sank 9 miles ENE of Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. The pleasure craft sank with a maximum capcity of 250 gallons of diesel fuel and 2 gallons of lube oil in approximately 129 ft of water. The USCG Sector San Juan contacted NOAA ERD at 1120ET to request fate and trajectory analysis.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL FUEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 250 GALLONS. TAGS: COLLISION.
