1. On March 16, 2015, the USCG MSD Ketchikan, AK, contacted NOAA ERD to request a trajectory for a potential diesel fuel spill from the grounded F/V Tonto III. The subject F/V broke free of it's mooring during the weekend, grounded on the shore of Wadleigh Island (along the western shore of Prince of Wales Island) and became flooded on an incoming tide. USCG MSD requested trajectory support in the event of a release.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL FUEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 200 GALLONS. TAGS: GROUNDING.
