FV Kupreanof; Cape Spencer, Alaska. Cape Spencer, Alaska. 1. On June 10, 2015, the FV Kupreanof, an 80' fishing vessel, sank approximately 45 nautical miles NNW of Cape Spencer (west of Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve). The maximum fuel capacity is 7,200 gallons of diesel, with another 100 gallons other oils. USCG Sector Juneau has requested a fates analysis and trajectory for the 7200 gallons of diesel. 2.
