Chlorine leak Kodiak, AK; Kodiak, AK. Kodiak, AK. 1. In Kodiak AK a one ton Chlorine tank was dropped and began to leak. About 1/2 of the cargo was lost before USCG could seal the tank. Tank began to leak again at a low rate while CG waited for equipment to transfer chlorine to smaller tanks. 2. THREAT: CHEMICAL. 3. POSITION 57.790N 152.408W.
