1. On November 1, 2015, the USCG Sector New Orleans notified the NOAA SSC about an oil spill that occurred on 30 Oct 2015. USCG confirmed by air that a discharge occurred from a platform and had created an approximate 500'x50' rainbow sheen.
2. THREAT: OIL. TAGS: MYSTERY SUBSTANCE.
