Hudson River 78th Street Dielectric Fluid Spill; Edgewater, NJ.

1. On January 2, 2016, the USCG Sector New York notified the NOAA SSC about a leak of dielectric fluid (no polychlorinated biphenyls) from a submerged active high power voltage line that runs between Manhattan, NY and Hudson County, NJ. Sector New York requested trajectory from NOAA.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIELECTRIC FLUID. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 10000 GALLONS. TAGS: PIPELINE.
