Gulfport, MS.
1. On June 15, 2016, the NOAA SSC was notified of a diesel spill in Gulfport harbor, Mississippi. The cause was reported as transfer line rupture. Red diesel observed in the water along the extent of the pier. USCG requesting support on fate and effects.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: MARINE DIESEL.
