FV Alaska Juris; Amchitka Pass, Alaska. Amchitka Pass, Alaska. 1. On 26-Jul-2016, the USCG reported that the FV Alaska Juris, a 218' fish catcher/processor is sinking due to an unknown cause. The vessel has 45 POB on board and a USCG SAR is in progress. There is a potential of 87,276 gallons of diesel on board.
