1. USCG Sector Hampton Roads notified the NOAA SSC at 1000 hours on 11 May 2017 of a spill of JP-5 jet fuel at the US Naval Air Station (OCEANA), Norfolk, VA. An unknown amount entered a storm water drain and has made its way to the Eastern Branch of Lynnhaven Inlet. USCG has requested trajectory, weather, tides and RAR.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: JP-5. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 100000 GALLONS.
