1. On August 29, 2017, the USCG Sector Mobile contacted the NOAA RRO regarding the release of approximately 7000gal of styrene monomer into a drainage ditch. The release was due to an overturned tractor trailer traveling southbound on I-65. The USCG requested a fate and effects.
2. THREAT: CHEMICAL. COMMODITY: STYRENE MONOMER. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 7000 GALLONS.
