1. At approximately 1900 CDT on October 7, 2017, Hurricane Nate (Category 1) made a first land fall at the mouth of the Mississippi River,Louisiana, then traveled across Breton, Chandeleur, and Mississippi Sounds prior to making a second landfall at 0030 CDT (1230 am) near Biloxi, Mississippi. This Hotline is being established to track response activities in Louisiana conducted by Sector New Orleans and MSU Houma.
