1. On November 29, 2017, the USCG Sector LA/Long Beach contacted their NOAA SSC to request trajectory support for a fishing vessel sunk just off the Southwest shoreline of Catalina Island, CA. The F/V Crystal Star had grounded near Salta Verde Point, Santa Catalina Island and later sank with 120 gallons of diesel on board. USCG requested a trajectory analysis.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 120 GALLONS.
