Vieques, Puerto Rico.
1. On September 19, 2017, the Motor Vessel Ferrel capsized during Hurricane Maria and later washed ashore on the western end of Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. An estimated 3,600 gallons of diesel remain onboard. Plans are now underway to remove fuel from the vessel.
2. THREAT: OIL.
