M/V Tropic Caribe; 36 miles north of Arecebo, Puerto Rico. 36 miles north of Arecebo, Puerto Rico. 1. USCG San Juan notified the SSC at 1930 on 04 March 2018 that the 525 foot freighter Tropic Caribe was adrift 36 miles north of Arecebo, Puerto Rico with 18 souls on board and 12500 Bbls of heavy fuel oil.
