1. On May 16, 2019, the USCG Sector San Francisco contacted their NOAA SSC to report an airborne release of 500 lbs Sulfur Dioxide from a flare stack at the Shell Refinery in Martinez, CA. USCG requested an estimate of potential airborne concentrations downwind of the release and how far concentrations might exceed levels of concern.
