1. At 0100 hours on 18 May 2019, USCG Sector New York contacted the NOAA SSC about a fire at the Alden Leads Chemical Plant, Kearny, New Jersey, a facility that produces and stores chlorine. USCG requested a smoke plume model.
2. THREAT: CHEMICAL. COMMODITY: GRANULAR CHLORINE.
