1. On 21 June 2019, USCG Sector Delaware Bay notified the NOAA SSC of a fire, followed by several explosions at the Philadelphia Energy Solutions Refinery, located in SW Philadelphia. A shelter in place has been issued and several adjacent roadways and bridges have been closed. USCG has requested smoke plume modeling support.
