Information is preliminary at this time, but the barge Kirby 30015 and M/V Genesis River collided in the Houston Ship Channel near Bayport Texas. The barge has a capacityof 25000 bbls (approx 1 million gallons) of a gasoline blending stock. Amount released is unknown at this time. The M/V Genesis River, loaded with butane and propane, is reportedly taking on water but not spilling any petroleum or cargo at this time. ERD is providing weather and trajectory products.”
