During the early morning hours of Thursday, 28 August 2008, the NOAA ERD HAZMAT Duty Officer was notified of an allision in Bolivar Roads. The regional Scientific Support Coordinator (SSC) was notified and provided the support requested by USCG MSU Galveston.
