1. On 18 August 2021, USCG Sector New York notified the NOAA SSC that 100-200 gallons of heavy fuel oil from a barge spilled into the Arthur Kill waterway during a fueling operation. at the Phillips 66 refinery. No request for products. SSC provided a verbal description of resources at risk.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: HEAVY FUEL OIL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 200 GALLONS.
