Vessel Aground, Doughty Point, NW Orcas Island, WA. Doughty Point, NW Orcas Island, WA. 1. On 10/21/2021, the USCG Sector Puget Sound called the SSC about a vessel aground off Doughty Point on the NW corner of Orcas Island. The 30-36' private crabbing vessel (name unknown) is hard aground with a potential of approx. 120 gallons gasoline on board. There is currently no release or sheen. They have requested POC's for managers in the area and resources at risk. The CG is working with the vessel owner on a salvage plan. 2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: GASOLINE.
