90-foot Motor Yacht Sinking, Virginia Beach, VA.
Virginia Beach, VA, USA.
1. On 25 May 2022, the USCG Sector Virginia notified the NOAA SSC that a 90-foot motor yacht was taking on water and likely to sink just south of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The vessel has 1400 gallons of diesel fuel onboard. Sector requested trajectory and resources at risk.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL FUEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 1400 GALLONS.
