1. On October 12, 2023, the USCG Sector Columbia River contacted the NOAA NW RRO in reference to a potential sheen reported at Bandon, OR. USCG is en route and has sent photos they received from on-scene and requested an opinion on whether this is a natural phenomenon or a petroleum release.
2. THREAT: OIL.
