Olympic Pipeline Gasoline Spill at Conway Station; Skagit County, WA. 19651 SR 534, Conway, Skagit County, WA. 1. On December 10, 2023, the EPA notified the NOAA HDO and SSC NW of an oil spill from a BP/Olympic Pipeline near Conway, WA. The 20” pipeline carrying gasoline had a pressure loss and shut down the system at Conway Station, approx. 1 mile east of I-5. The pipeline is 4’ underground, there is an unknown max. potential of gasoline released. Oil is observed in nearby Bulson Creek, and a smell of fumes and gasoline in the area of the release. BP, EPA and WA Dept. of Ecology are sending responders. There are potential impacts to salmon migrations and resources 2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: GASOLINE. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 21168 GALLONS.
