Submerged Barge, Newtown Creek, Brooklyn, NY. New York, NY, USA. 1. On the morning of 16 December 2023, US EPA Region II notified the NOAA SSC that there is a submerged tug and lift barge in Newtown Creek, Brooklyn, New York. The tug is releasing a light sheen.
