Propylene Glycol Spill; Port Orchard, WA.
7305 Beach Dr E, Port Orchard, WA 98366, USA.
1. On January 11, 2024, the USCG contacted the NOAA SSC NW about an approx. 700-gallon propylene glycol spill at the NWFSC Manchester Research Station in Port Orchard, WA. The USCG requested information on the chemical properties and toxicity of propylene glycol in case the product reached Clam Bay.
2. THREAT: CHEMICAL. COMMODITY: PROPYLENE GLYCOL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 700 GALLONS.
