In Situ Burn of Oil Spill at Whitney Oil & Gas, Lake Hatch B-42; Houma, LA.
Houma, LA, USA.
1. On March 6, 2024, Whitney Oil & Gas reported an approximate 5bbl spill into marsh and adjacent waterway from a 3-in test line associated with well #66. NRC #1393204. An in-situ burn is being considered.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: OIL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 2500 GALLONS.
