F/V Vicki Rae Sinking; Sand Point, AK. Sand Point, AK, USA. 1. On 7/22/2024, USCG Sector Western Alaska & US Arctic notified the SSC of the sinking of the F/V Vickie Rae near Sand Point, AK. The vessel pperator stated that approximately 1000 gallons of diesel was on board at time of sinking. 2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 1000 GALLONS. 3.
