Spent Sulfuric Acid Barge; Baton Rouge, LA.

1. On Aug 10 2003, the barge was observed to have its relief valves blown, and it was venting gas. RP was to fix the problem that day. The Coast Guard requested weather and plume information.
2. THREAT: CHEMICAL. COMMODITY: SULFURIC ACID.
