Key Largo, Florida.
1. On January 2, 1991, at approximately 1700, the 80-foot yacht SEPTEMBER caught fire and burned to the water line in John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, Florida. The fire was brought under control by 1930, but the vessel sank in about 15 feet of water with approximately 800 gallons of diesel fuel onboard. USCG district 7.
2. COMMODITY: DIESEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 800 GALLONS.
