1. At 1715 EDT, NOAA was contacted by USCG MSO New Orleans and notified that the F/V Joe G. Jr. was aground on the west end of East Timbalier Island, Louisiana at approximately 29? 03.5'N, 090? 20.1'W in 10 feet of water. Seas are reported at 3 feet. The vessel has the potential to release 20,000 gallons of diesel. USCG district 8.
2. COMMODITY: DIESEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 20000 GALLONS.
