MV C. A. McCall; East Timbalier Island, LA. East Timbalier Island, LA. 1. The NOAA SSC was notified by MSD Houma of a grounded support vessel off East Timbalier Island, Louisiana at 1100 hrs on Saturday, 13 January 2001. The MV Carol Ann McCall was employed to transport personnel to the nearshore oil and gas facilities in the Terrobonne - Timbalier Bay area. The vessel was carrying an estimated 7,500 gallons of marine diesel fuel and an unknown quantity of lube oils. No personnel injuries were reported (nor was the actual cause of the grounding).
