1. At 1037 CST, in Galveston Bay Texas, the T/V Minerva grounded in the shipping channel. The vessel is reported to have 600,000 bbls of crude oil onboard. There is not spill at this time. The shipping channel has been closed until the vessel can be moved.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: CRUDE OIL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 25200000 GALLONS.
