1. On September 2, 2010, at 0900 PDT, NOAA ERD was notified of a fire aboard a Mariner Energy Well in Western Louisiana. The initial reports include a Search and Rescue for 13 persons in water. The USCG reports no visible oil in water but has requested a trajectory analysis for 100 bbls of crude and diesel (contents of platform), and 1400 bbls (daily production rate.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL AND CRUDE OIL.
