1. A 15 mile by 1 mile slick of oil was reported from a platform approximately 17 miles offshore from Port Arthur, TX at 0900 (local) Aug 23 2011. USCG is conducting an overflight to investigate and will obtain a sample.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: UNKNOWN. TAGS: MYSTERY SUBSTANCE.
