1. At 0430 on May 14, the F/V Devon struck a rock while traveling up the Nushagak River, Alaska, puncturing a fuel tank. 2,000 gallon diesel fuel spilled into the Nushagak River, approximately 12 miles upriver from Dillingham. The remainder of the fuel was transferred to a void space on the vessel; the vessel has returned to Dillingham.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 2000 GALLONS. TAGS: GROUNDING.
