1. On November 14, 2014, the USCG MSU Morgan City contacted the NOAA SSC in regards to a surface release of 66 barrels of zinc bromide from a platform in Vermilion Block 342 (90 miles offshore of Louisiana). USCG is requesting information about the potential environmental impacts, fates and effects of this product.
2. THREAT: CHEMICAL. COMMODITY: ZINC BROMIDE. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 2772 GALLONS.
