501 Oryong; Bering Sea, Russia. Bering Sea, Russia. 1. On December 1, 2014, USCG Anchorage contacted ERD requesting oil fate and trajectory for a sinking South Korean fishing vessel in the Bering Sea. The 326-foot vessel has an estimated 8400 bbls of diesel and 150 bbls of lube oil. Media reports that more than 50 crew are missing. USCG assets are en route. 2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL.
