M/V ALGOMA SPIRIT; St. Lawrence River. St. Lawrence River. 1. The M/V Algoma Spirit ran aground in the St. Lawrence River near the Seaway International Bridge, northeast of Massena, NY. The vessel is reported to be carrying 200 Metric Tons of HFO and 60 Metric tons of Diesel. No pollution reported at this time. USCG Sector Buffalo requested trajectory, fate, and resources at risk support as precaution. 2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: HFO & MARINE DIESEL. TAGS: GROUNDING. 3. POSITION 44.999N 074.722W.
