M/V West Cameron; 238 miles south of Pensacola, FL GOM. 238 miles south of Pensacola, FL GOM. 1. On February 20, 206, the NOAA SSC was contacted by USCG Sector Mobile regarding a sunken tug located approximately 238 miles south of Pensacola, FL. The tug was reportedly being towed to Venezuela and sunk overnight on February 19, 2016. Reportedly 6,000 gallons of marine diesel on board. 2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: MARINE DIESEL.
