1. Om March 10, 2016, the USCG Sector Puget Sound notified the NOAA SSC for the Northwest that the 57-foot F/V BERGEN grounded in Bellingham Bay, WA, with an estimated 1500 gallons of diesel on board. Trajectory and oil persistence support was requested and delivered verbally. Trustees have been notified and ESA Section 7 emergency consultation has been initiated.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 1500 GALLONS. TAGS: GROUNDING.
