On May 1, 2017, the NOAA SSC was notified of a dead Gray Whale (approximately 22-30 feet in length) floating near Seaview Approach, 0.5 NM offshore of Long Beach, WA. Estimated weight of carcass is about 9,000 kg. The whale is currently entangled in fishing gear. A trajectory is requested. 2. THREAT: OTHER. 3. POSITION 46.333N 124.082W.
