Sunoco Logistics; 2300 N Twin City Hwy, Nederland, TX 77627, USA. 2300 N Twin City Hwy, Nederland, TX 77627, USA. 1. On May 31, 2017, Sunoco Logistics discharged approximately 12 barrels of heavy fuel oil (API 12.3) into the Neches River, near Nederland, TX. Oil Spill Recovery Organizations (OSROs) were deployed, and oil is currently contained in a boom near the facility. On June 1, 2017, the USCG MSU Port Arthur contacted NOAA SSC to request a trajectory. 2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: HEAVY FUEL OIL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 504 GALLONS. 3. POSITION 30.007N 093.980W.
